| When it comes to webhosting the types of services
available vary widely. The most basic is file hosting (or webpage
hosting), where webpages and other files can be uploaded via FTP
or a Web interface. The files are usually static and delivered to
the Web "as
is" or
with little processing.
Shared webpage hosting is typically sufficient for personal home pages and smaller businesses.
